Dispute Resolution:

Practical CE Seminars is fully committed to conducting all CE activities in compliance with the American Psychological Association's Ethical Principles. Practical CE Seminars will comply with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content and in the treatment of program participants. The monitoring and assessment of compliance with these standards will be the responsibility of the founders, Dr. Ron Holman and Ms. Kim Scott.

While, Practical CE Seminars goes to great lengths to assure fair treatment for all participants and attempts to anticipate problems, there will be occasional issues which are brought to our attention. Some of these issues may concern the quality of our programs and/or ethical considerations. Practical CE Seminars wants our participants to be satisfied with all of their interactions with us and when a problem arises, we want to solve it right away. We are available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to address any issues that arise. When an issue can not easily be resolved with a phone conversation, Practical CE Seminars has a dispute resolution process that can be utilized. This is the correct venue for complaints of an ethical nature or regarding quality control.

The participant must submit the dispute in writing to the Provider Relations Manager at the address below. Practical CE Seminars will then respond within 20 working days of receipt of the dispute. A resolution to the dispute will be rendered within 30 working days of receipt. If the participant disagrees with the resolution, then it can be appealed.

Additionally, when a mutually agreed upon resolution to an apparent ethical violation cannot be reached after appeal, Practical CE Seminars will refer the grievance to the American Arbitration Association for arbitration and resolution in keeping with the APA ethical guidelines. If deemed necessary by the American Arbitration Association, Practical CE Seminars will submit the grievance for review by a state committee on professional ethics.
