Gary Brainerd, Ph.D.
Dr. Brainerd, a licensed clinical psychologist, earned his Ph.D. from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. He is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and Imago Therapy Workshop Presenter. Dr. Brainerd is also a published author. His books included the Basic Marriage Communication Training: A Programmed Text and the Basic Marriage Communication Training: Instructor's Manual. He has also co-authored the Parent Adolescent Communication Training with Dr. Richard Michalsen.
Dr. Brainerd is also national presenter for Cross Country Education, providing CE's for therapists on "Managing Marriage and Money" and "Counseling for Couples: Understanding and Improving Love Relationships."
Additionally, he is the Founder of the Couple's Garden "Smart Date Night" and is the Creator of the Couple's Workstation, an online program based partly on Imago Relationship Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other leading theorists. He is currently focusing on training other therapists to work with couples using the skills, processes and technology of the Couple's Workstation.
