THE HOLMAN GROUP - February 1988 to May 2002

Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Help President and Founder of 12 million dollar company increase revenue by dynamic sells and marketing of managed behavioral health care plans. Build and lead sales department of 7. Sell directly to clients and through brokers, third party administrators and consultants. Work successfully with corporations, multi-employer trusts, public entities, municipalities and school districts. Establish successful sales department. Develop new plan designs leading company into the small group market.

Design company webpage which is located at www.HolmanGroup.com. Build interdepartmental sales team and training program which allows non-sales department staff to receive sales training and product training. This 24 week program improves the sales focus throughout the company, develops future sales staff and empowers non-sales staff to contribute to the sales process.

Handle all underwriting and cost accounting including supervision of Cost Accountant. Serve as national spokesperson for company. Develop and present CE approved class for insurance agents.

Review and approve group plan contracts, agent agreements, references and proposals before submission. Develop all department policies and procedures. Design company brochure, training videos and overall marketing materials. Create and implement companywide sales and marketing strategies.

Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Achieve top sales in company and train others to sell. Develop, market and sell nationwide Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Program as an enhancement to existing plans, thereby securing new clients (including a nationwide paramedic group with over 13,000 employees).

Drive entire sales process from sale through implementation. Develop underwriting policies and procedures for new and renewed accounts. Serve as key member of company's executive strategic planning committee.

Vice President, Clinical Services
Lead and manage Intake Department, Outpatient Care Management Department, Provider Relations Department and On-call Staff. Develop all policies and procedures for departments. Successfully co-write and submit application for single service insurance license in Nevada.

Director of Intake and Provider Relations
Manage Intake and Provider Relations Departments. Develop temporary staff pool to assist and relieve Outpatient Care Manager. Initiate provider site visits to keep company in compliance with Knox-Keene regulations.

Account Manager
Personally manage company's largest account in addition to 25 others. 100% of my accounts renew. Resolve client problems and grievances (eg., resolve company-wide billing issue, which otherwise would have lost company's largest client). Create, sell and present psycho-educational seminars for existing clients.
