Alcoholic Anonymous
The Alcoholic’s Anonymous website has a variety of useful information including an overview of AA, how to determine if it is right for you or your clients and, how to find a meeting. Literature is also available for purchase or to download at no charge. This website also has many pamphlets and videos, which may be useful to the professional.
Two of the Practical CE Seminars are based on reading AA literature. These courses are:
- The Big Book Review, and
- An Overview of the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions
Each of the above courses requires the therapist to read one of the primary pieces of AA literature. You can read these books online or download PDF versions to you computer at no charge, by visiting the Alcoholics Anonymous website at www.aa.org.

The California Board of Psychology provides licensing and continuing education information for the psychologist licensed in California.

This course requires the therapist to read the basic text of NA and to attend an NA meeting. You can read this book online or download a PDF version to you computer at no charge, by visiting the Narcotics Anonymous website at www.na.org. This book can also be purchased at meetings and bookstores.
