Laura Fine, M.A.

Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Master of Arts Degree in Theatre, Licensed Holistic Health Practitioner, Founder and Director of Lionheart Institute of Transpersonal Energy Healing

Laura has been a conscious spiritual seeker since the age of twenty-one. Her pursuits have taken her on journeys to study with numerous meditation teachers and to explore a variety of spiritual paths. From a solo trek through Europe and Israel to a Vision Quest through the canyon lands of Utah to participation in various churches, synagogues and spiritual retreats, Laura finally found her spiritual home in the ancient traditions of India. Her spiritual practice has brought her to India four times. She has enjoyed being an active member of RadhaMadhavDham.org retreat center for the past seventeen years.

Laura has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family therapy from San Diego university of integrative Studies and a second Masters of Arts Degree from University of Miami, Florida in Theatre Arts. She has practiced as a licensed Holistic Health Practitioner for thirty years in the field of body/mind therapies and is co-founder and director of Lionheart Institute of Transpersonal Energy Healing, which was founded in 1999 in San Antonio. A graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, Laura also trained for two years in Kabalistic Healing with The Society of Souls. She has taught at several alternative healing schools in California and New York. Laura developed a research project and administrated a pilot study in holistic healing for post-surgery heart transplant patients at U.C.L.A. Hospital. Her career has bridged the creative and healing arts after having worked for twenty years professionally in the theater as a director and acting teacher with such institutions as Manhattan Class company, Barnard College and Riverside Shakespeare Company in New York. Laura originated The Energy System of Acting (ESA), an actor training technique for professional actors and is author of The Exceptional Actor: Seven Steps to Charisma, Chemistry and Magnetism, which can be found on-line at www.LionheartInstitute.com.

In 2001 Laura faced, survived and healed from a life-threatening illness.
