More to come

Each renewal period therapists are required to complete a law and ethics course. For instance, in California MFTs and LCSWs are required to complete 6 hours per renewal cycle, where as Psychologists are required to complete 4 hours. (To determine the requirements in your State, check with your licensing board).

Unfortunately, the courses we take year after year tend to be repetitive. And, while it is useful to refresh our memories on the most essential aspects of practicing in a legal and ethical manner, sitting through a 4 to 6 hours course covering material you have heard many times before can be mind-numbing.

Practical CE Seminars is presenting a new kind of Law and Ethics presentation. Rather than sitting through a course that covers the same data you have heard year-in and year-out, we are offering a series of 1 CE credit courses, which you can either purchase individually or as part of a 6 CE Credit package.

By purchasing your courses 1 CE credit at a time, you can tailor-make your Law and Ethics course to cover the topics most relevant to your practice. Or, you can sign up for the package and receive a complete Law and Ethics overview broken into 1-hour segments that you can view at your leisure.

These courses are video taped courses with integrated PowerPoint slides, which you can print as handouts. Quicktime plug-in needed: Free download
