Online Journal Article Review for CEU’s

Welcome to the Practical CE Seminars online journal article review. The number of units you receive for completing this review is based on the number of pages in the journal article you have read. The journal article must be at least 5 pages long and you will receive 1 CEU for each 5 pages in the article. For example, if the journal article you read was 10 pages long you will receive 2 CEUs.

For a journal article to qualify it must pertain to the practice of therapy as defined by your license. Additionally, the journal article needs to have been written by a professional in the field. A self-help article authored by a lay person would not quality.

In addition to entering the basic information about the article you read, such as the title, the name of the author, and the number of pages; you will also be asked to answer nine questions. Some of the questions require essay-style answers. You will also be asked to complete a course evaluation form.

Completing this review generally takes between 20 to 45 minutes. Once you have completed the review, you will be able to print your Certificate of Completion. You can navigate in and out of this course just like all other courses, if you cannot complete it in one sitting. After you have completed the review, within 72 hours it will be reviewed by a licensed clinician. If any answers are incomplete you will be notified via email that additional information is needed for your Certification of Completion to be valid. This rarely occurs and as long as your answer the questions asked, no additional information should be needed.

The fee for this course is based on the number of continuing education units you will receive. If you would like to proceed to the online book report the fee will be $7.50 per CEU. So for example, if you read a 10 page article you will receive 2 CEUs and the total cost will be $15.00.

10 page article Ă· 5 pages = 2 CEU x $7.50 = $15.00
